Privacy, cookies, data protection & terms
Everest Minds builds and operates regulated health technology. We treat the privacy and security of the people and institutions we work with as a first-order responsibility. This page explains how this website handles data and your rights.
Privacy Policy
This policy applies to everestminds.com (the “website”), operated by Everest Minds (“we”, “us”). It does not cover the regulated platforms we build and operate inside client institutions. Those are governed by the data-processing agreements and privacy notices of the institution that owns them.
What we collect
- Information you send us. If you email us (for example via info@everestminds.com), we receive your name, email address and the content of your message.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to deliver and secure the site.
- Local storage. We store your cookie-consent choice in your browser so we don’t ask again (see the Cookie Policy below).
This website does not use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking technologies, and we do not sell personal data.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and provide information you request.
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Third parties
We load typography from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google’s servers; Google may receive your IP address as part of that request. We use a hosting provider to serve the site. We do not share your contact information with marketing partners.
Retention & security
We keep enquiry emails only as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal requirements, then delete them. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.
Contact
For any privacy request or question, contact privacy@everestminds.com.
Cookie Policy
A cookie is a small file stored on your device. This website is intentionally minimal in what it stores:
- Strictly necessary. We store your cookie-consent preference in your browser’s local storage so the consent notice doesn’t reappear. This is required for the site to respect your choice and cannot be switched off.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies are set by this website.
- Third-party requests. Google Fonts is loaded from Google’s CDN; it does not set cookies but does receive a network request from your browser.
You can clear local storage and cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will cause the consent notice to appear again on your next visit.
GDPR & your data-protection rights
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation or comparable laws apply, our lawful bases for processing are your consent (for non-essential requests you initiate), our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, and legal obligation where applicable.
Your rights
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Restriction & objection: limit or object to certain processing.
- Portability: receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent: at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
To exercise any right, email privacy@everestminds.com. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards (for example, standard contractual clauses).
Healthcare data notice
Everest Minds is a digital health implementation partner, not a healthcare provider. This website does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgement.
Please do not submit any personal health information, patient data or protected health information through this website or by email. Where we process health-related data within client programs, we do so strictly as a processor under the client institution’s instructions, governed by data-processing agreements, applicable health-data laws and the institution’s own privacy notices, not under this website policy.
Metrics shown on this site reflect reported implementation outcomes from Everest Minds and its partners. References to AstraZeneca, Amgen, Roche, Danone Nutricia, USAID, MSD, Viatris and other organizations indicate collaboration, funded initiatives or ecosystem participation and do not imply endorsement. Patient imagery is representative healthcare context, not a claim about an identifiable patient.
